A new big milling machine in France

Investment : a new big milling machine for Shapers’ France, 3 people were hired.  

Shapers’ India : Renewal of the Quality certification ISO 9001

On 2nd of December , all Shapers’ India employees had a very successful audit with BSI.
After a complete day of analysis , BSI gave the renewal of ISO 9001 quality certification.
Congratulations to all the Indian team for there great involvement to reach this level.

Shapers’: a strong alliance between two key mouldmakers in Europe


The shared history of SERMO and ZIMMERMANN started in 2005 with the takeover of both companies by ARRK. Skilled and experienced professionals were thus brought together to provide an improved service in tooling activity from the assessment phase to job lot production of plastic parts.

  • 1978 : first bumpers produced by injection at Zimmermann (Golf I) and Sermo (Renault 9)
  • 1997 : creation of Sermo Polska
  • 2002 : creation of Sermo India
  • 2004 : Sermo takes its first steps in China with creation of a technical and sales office in Shanghai
  • 2005 : acquisition of Zimmerman and Sermo by the ARRK Group
  • 2006 : creation by Sermo of a sales office in Brazil
  • 2007 : creation of a Joint Venture in China: Sermo Wuhan
  • 2009 : creation of Shapers’: alliance of the Zimmerman and Sermo Groups propelling the group to No.1 among mouldmakers in the European market
